My name is Katherine (Kat) and I’m a cake designer originally from Kent. I moved to Spain 15 years ago to pursue a life in the sun, where I currently live with my husband and two boys.
After spending many years in finance, I wanted to do something more creative and exciting, and cakes had always had a special place in my heart.
I am a complete perfectionist and will not stop until every detail is absolutely perfect. I love everything about weddings and really enjoy designing unique cakes for my couples. There’s always a sense of magic in the air when you’re around a wedding, and designing someone’s dream wedding cake is just a joy.

designer.
I arrived in Spain 7 years ago and the last
thing I imagined was finding my passion,
pastry.
I worked in a coffee shop, I hardly spoke
Spanish and I needed money, one day my
boss at that time forced me (because I
begged him to ask me for anything but not a
cake because I didn´t know where to start) to
prepare a carrot cake because the girl who
was in the kitchen didn´t like the way I did it,
of course the first one was a total failure until
I managed to get a cake worthy of being for
sale!
From that moment something changed… I
began to train myself at first as a self-taught
person and then I continued with professional
courses until I got to wedding cakes, which
for design and structural reasons are my
great passion.
My cakes are avant-garde, up to date with
new trends, elegant and modern at the same
time.
I’ve always had a great passion for video shooting since my early childhood. I constantly aim to make each project a never-to-be-forgotten story that would create a lasting impression on my client. I only believe I’ve done a good job when I hear my clients say such words as: “Wow!”, “This is cool!”, “I haven’t seen anything like this before”.
I’m so passionate about colorful and memorable cinematic stories. Stories that would capture the true atmosphere and broader sense of the event and convey nothing but authentic beauty. The beautiful landscape of Spain’s southern coast itself plays a major role in my work. I live in Marbella but I am also keen on traveling all around the world as a destination videographer.
My top priority is to embody all your dreams, imaginations and ideas in a high-quality video that will not leave you indifferent.

From 1997 to 2010 I was working in hotel groups developing different positions such as
animator, public relations, responsible customer service.
Working at the Hotel Bahía del Duque and due to an incident at the Hotel Abama, both in
Tenerife, I had the opportunity to carry out the function of master of ceremony for the
wedding of Jaime Polanco (Grupo Prisa) and Fiona Ferrer (blogger of fashion and influencer),
year 2009. From that moment I started this work until today in which I also include the
wedding of Olivia de Borbón (Royal Spanish Family) and Julián Porras (businessman). Both as
the cover of HOLA¡¡
Born in 1976 in Gerona, to a Scottish father and an Extremaduran mother.
I have lived in Barcelona until I was 25 years old but currently I live between Malaga, Morocco and Barcelona.
About 16 years ago I decided to move to Malaga and later start a personal project in Morocco that you can see at the bottom of this page.
I can enjoy a beautiful sunset in the middle of absolutely nothing, the desert dunes, a fire, the stars, a rum cola with friends and I madly love animals and nature, because all my childhood I have spent the summer in a small town in Extremadura called Holguera, the town where my whole Spanish family comes from.
