Having a beach wedding is the dream of many couples and Marbella is the perfect location to do so. If something was clear from the very beginning is that Megan and Steven wanted their wedding day to be memorable.
A relaxed, but stylish scottish wedding in a privileged setting right in the heart of Golden Mile, Marbella town. The ceremony took place in one of the most exclusive beach restaurant La Milla Marbella , where the sea breeze served as the idyllic backdrop and a wood arch with gorgeous flowers framed the newlyweds during the vow exchange. It was a real family affair with a reading from the bride’s brother and a candle ceremony involving their lovely mums, not to mention the friends and family vow. Emotion, tears and lot of fun would describe this beautiful moment in such a nice location from Costa del Sol. Everything was set up beautifully and put together by our lovely team Marbella Wedding® .
Something funny at this time but worrying when it happened is that this couple had chosen their venue, but 6 months before the wedding it went on fire, yes yes you are reading well, the venue went on fire. Under this situation, we were forced to find a similar venue and La Milla Marbella was exactly what the couple wanted for a beach wedding in Marbella.
Everything in life goes through something, as long as we have health all the unexpected things can be solved.
Today the couple has a beautiful baby that we are looking forward to meeting as soon as they can travel to Spain

The story of an elopement in Spain in covid time…
Like many of our couples, Dayana & Iker had to face the Covid-19 problem and make really tough decisions while planning their wedding this year.
We had everything ready, the wedding was planned for June 20. There were supposed to be more than 100 people who travel from Miami, Venezuela and different parts of Spain. But suddenly when the Covid occurred, the question arose of postponing or moving forward with the wedding next year. They finally decided to immortalize their love and continue with an elopement wedding which was absolutely breathtaking.
So last September, in a luxury villa located a few minutes from Marbella, they said the magic words “Yes I Do!” We chose an autumn theme, bright colors like their love, green, orange, copper, terracotta, details that highlight the personality of both and a very emotional ceremony. The red thread was one of the protagonists, without a doubt it will unite them forever.
They decided to rent this stunning location for 3 nights, the villa is located in a very privileged place and they had the entire property and huge pool for themselves. After the elopement the couple decided to invite their parents for a nice dinner in Marbella, a spanish restaurant was the choice of course.
The trials we face on life’s journey are not to reveal our weaknesses, but to help us discover our inner strengths. And Dayana and Ikler demonstrated that love can with everything, defying the Covid made them even stronger and that nothing interferes with their pure love.
After this show of love, there is no doubt that an elopement wedding can be full of details, love.
The style and decoration perfectly match that of a Spanish wedding.
